More cute pics of Mr. Copperpot

So there is not much going on, but I took some more pictures of Chester. But on a funny note. We took Chester over to Adam's family's house last week, and Mary, Adam's mom, was petting his belly and she said "Oh look at that belly button!", except it wasn't his belly button. If you get my drift! It was quite funny. But Chester was able to make lots of friends this week. First was his introduction to Scraps, Adam's brother, Kevin's, dog. Scraps is an American Bulldog, and he is only about 5 month old, but his head is as big as Chesters body! Next was my friend Toni's Boston Terriers, Sammie and Bandit. Chester got along much more with them I think because of their size. Also, Chester found his bark over at Toni's! Thanks Toni! But he still is not a barker. Yeah!! Then I took Chester over to my grandma's house, to meet her 5 dogs. And Chester actually got along very well with them as well. Again, I believe the size of the opposing dog has something to do with it. Although, as Chester gets a little bit older I think him and Scraps will become BFF's. So anyway, I never realized how much work a puppy was. My parents always were in charge of the potty training. Although thankfully, he no longer has diarrhea! (The food switch wasn't nice on his digestion). But I have all these plans in my head for the potty training. I wasn't prepared for the first night. I got about 4 hours of sleep in 2 days. And so one of those days I was soooo emotional cause I was soooo tired. Adam probably thought I was losing it! But, being the wonderful husband he is he was very sweet. And didn't call me crazy, at least to my face. But all in all, the nights are getting slowly better, but it's the potty training that's going to break us!

 

This is him sleeping, he likes to sleep weird. But it makes for good pictures. (But if you look closely, you will see his "bellybutton!!" hehe... that was really funny!

I finally got one of his ears up! They are huge. I told Adam we should have named him Batman!

Chester Copperpot

 

 

So I would like to introduce all of you to our new little baby! Chester Copperpot. (And for those of you who have no idea who Chester Copperpot is, like my friend who keeps saying Chester Butternut, all I will say is watch Goonies. Goonies happens to be me and Adam's favorite movie. So let me tell you a little bit about Chester. He is a 9 week old Boston Terrier. He is the sweetest, cudeliest puppy! He doesn't shed so far, and doesn't annoy my allergies, which is very much a plus in my book. Adam picked him out. Well it was either Chester or his sister. I wanted to take them both, but in an apartment, making sure one dog doesn't poop everywhere is enough. But Adam and I have already had the dog conversation months ago. As in what would we name our first dog. We agreed that Chester Copperpot was infanetly better than Sloth (again watch Goonies). So these are just pictures from the first day. Don't worry there will be many more to follow. My mom was so excited, but then she got mad saying that I was putting off having a baby, but that Chester would do for now!

Pickle

 

So I had to put Pickle on before I introduce you to our new family addition. We got Pickle right after Squishy died and she is a very funny active hamster. So here's Pickle!!

New Apartment

So we just recently moved into a new apartment complex. It is a newly renovated complex, so everything in it is very nice, however, so much crap has happened. First the cable got all screwed up.... grrrr... oh well... and then the phone wasn't working, and then the apartment complex has recently told us they were going to evict us because they said we don't have electricity. But we do and we gave them all the info. So even though the apartments are very nice, they are going to give me an ulcer. Oh well here are some pictures:

 

This is Adam installing the most important thing... his computer!

 

This is a picture of our kitchen. By far the most interesting part of the house. If you look closely in the corner you will see that it looks like there are 2 dishwashers. But alas, there is not. The one closest to the wall is actually a washer/dryer all in one. Very European, from everything I have seen on HGTV. It's very cool.

 

All the appliances are stainless steel, and I have finally have a flattop stove. Even tho technically it's not mine, it's still quite excellent.

 

This is a closeup of the Washer/Dryer all in one. First it starts washing and then automatically switches to drying. Quite nice.
