Love is in the Air...

So since it is getting to that time of year (the dreaded Valentines day!!) I thought that I would dedicate the next couple of weeks to sigh tell some of the things that I love in my life. Sometimes people can dread Valentines Day, because it just amplifies all the love and such things that are missing in your life. And I know from experience that 99% of the time the things that are thought of around this time of year are all the things that are missing. Whether you are married or single. If your are single... You spend Valentines Day thinking of how you DON'T have a boyfriend/fiance/husband. If you are married, then you spend Valentines Day thinking of how your boyfriend/fiance/husband is going to ruin the holiday by not putting much thought into to said holiday. It's all a continuous, dirty, cycle...yes...made by the greeting card companies. But this year I thought I would take the time to just sit and think about what I am grateful for and what I love about this life that I am living. I will not say that I will do it everyday, but I will try to do it as much as possible. So here is my first entry...

I LOVE:

My husband Adam.

WHAT I LOVE ABOUT Adam:
*I love the fact that he will just make up random songs about nothing and everything. They crack me up.

*I love watching him play around with the dogs. (they have way too much fun).
*I love how if I'm sad for some reason...he is always there to let me cry on his shoulder.
*I love that Adam is a hard worker in everything he does.

*I love how he is such a cuddle bug... and has turned me into one since we got married!
*I love how he is fearless, and will ride any roller coaster, and try anything.

*I love that he wears hats...I have always thought hats look good on guys.
*I love that he has ambitions in life.

*I love that he can be romantic, when he wants to be.
*I love how even tempered he is.

(isn't this pic funny? I took it right after he woke up 1/2 of his head was calm and laying down, and the other 1/2 is fuzzy and sticking up!)

*I love that he is still a kid at heart!

*I love how he tells "tall tales" and convinces people they are true, including me. Ok...so I don't love them all the time.

* I love how cute Adam is. Of course I do he's my husband!!

I LOVE ADAM!!

Quirkiness explored

So I was reading one of my friends blogs and she had gotten a tag where you have to list some of your closet quirks about yourself. After I read it I got to thinking about what my quirks might be. I know I have many of them. And probably other people would better be able to point them out to me, than me trying to think of them myself. But I got to thinking anyway, and thought I would put this on my blog as well. I would also encourage others to do the same. You will be surprised to find out what you call normal, is actually very weird!

1. Well on my friends blog she mentioned the particular way she eats M&M's. Well, I too have a particular way I eat colored candy. I don't have to count it or anything, but (now this is just for multi colored candy), I can't eat consecutive colors in a row. So we will explore this with...Skittles. (You see it also has to be a candy where the different colors have different flavors). If I eat a red one, I then cannot eat another red one. I must have different color, and basically go down the line. And once they are close to being gone, I tend to leave my favorite flavors for last, but then I must eat alternating colors. So there is my candy quirk.

2. Clothes have to hang on the hangers just so. I am by no means a clean freak, however, I have to have my clothes hanging perfectly on the hangers. You know what I mean, the seam on your shoulder must be lined up with the top of the hanger. I always encourage Adam to hang up his own clothes, however if the closet is left open, then I will fix all his clothes so they are hanging correctly. But usually I have found that I am fixing then alot, so I just close the closet. Out of site out of mind.

3. When I get ready in the morning for work, I must abide by my set routine. If I deviate in any way, then I forget things for sure...lunch....wallet...work badge... etc. So it goes like this, I eat breakfast...take a shower...comb my hair...put on the underoos...go back in the bathroom, and put product in (you see when I do that I some hair comes out so I can't very well get hair on my work clothes)... then I put on my moisturizer...get dressed....makeup...etc.. and it continues. If it is different in any way, I will guarantee I will forget something.

hmmmm....I'm sure there are lots lots lots more, but I can't think of anything right at the moment. It's pretty late. If I think of anything else I will post it.

The Wii Fit

So Adam decided to to the Wii Fit. And as I was laying on the couch watching him do the Hula Hoop exercise, it struck me as extremely funny so I broke out the camera. I just want to showcase his Hula Hoop talent. Anyway, here it is, a demonstration on how guys do not know how to move their hips. Hilarious! Enjoy

HAPPY 2009!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!

So I thought with the new year I would list a couple of my new years resolutions. Usually I stick with them for about 3 or 4 months. (As in my attempt last year to quit soda totally)And then there are times when I actually last the whole year (The year I gave up just caffeine) Hmmmm....There seems to be a trend with the soda thing. Anyway here are a couple (do-able) resolutions of mine:

1. Try to get in a house this year!
2. Get healthier. (See how I'm not saying get in shape. I figure that if I just try to be as healthy as I can the rest will follow.)
3. Not let all these end of the world rumors get to me. Even though I know that most of them are malarkey, but every time I hear one I have a mini panic attack. I didn't vote for him but Barack won, so I'll wait and see what transpires.
4. I would love to be more organized.
5. Try to be more optimistic. I will not be depressed when I turn 29 this year...I WILL NOT! Next year however, I'm not making any promises.

Well, that's about all I can come up with right now. Hope everyone has a wonderful New Year!
