Thanksgiving memories

So now that Thanksgiving has come and gone, it is now time to relive the fun times had by all. This Thanksgiving was pretty good. My cousins from Texas, Darren and David, came into town for the week. I hadn't seen then in about 5 or 6 years! So since they came in my aunt and uncle, Kim and John, came over to see their boys, oh yeah... and us. That was a treat in itself, cause they never ever come over to our neck of the woods during any holidays. So that was nice. So we had about double the food. We were going to hit up 2 dinners, but my families dinner got a late start, so we only were able to have dessert at The Malnar's casa. It was a good day. After we hung out at my families dinner for a bit, we headed on over to Glendale for some more goodies! Shortly after that Adam got a call from his friend that they needed to get in line at Best Buy, to get some good stuff the next morning. So Adam left at about 8, to go sit in line. My wonderful husband, sat in line all night just to get me my new laptop! (which I happen to be using right now) I love it! After that me and the rest of the Malnar clan went and checked out Adam's older brother, Aaron's new pad! So all in all it was a very filling, yummy, festive, fun day. So good in fact, I think I'll do it again next year!

This was the coveted seat in the house. And Adam was able to get it for a while. Most people thought he was watching the football game, but what they really don't know is that he was just waiting for the 1/2 time show... The Jonas Bros were playing!! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

We took a family picture while we were there. This is Aaron, Adam, and Chris, waiting around for the picture taking to commence. But if you look by Aaron, there is an orb. (On all those ghost hunting shows, they say that is a spirit!) Aaron has a ghost haunting him!! AAAHHHHH


Well Thanksgiving is over and my favorite time of the year is about to commence! I Love Christmas!!

TWILIGHT

So last night my two friends and myself, went and braved the throngs of teenage girls, and saw the midnight showing of twilight. (If you ever want to really feel old go see a midnight showing of a book with a primarily teenage fanbase). Anyway, it was so crazy there were 3 news vans there taking picutre of the lines. We could always tell where they were cause there was lots of squeeling and yelling, and we would run the other way. Last night made me hope and pray that I end up with all boys, once I have kids. But it was still pretty fun. So to the movie. I really liked it. There were only 2 things that I didn't really like. I think they tiptoed over the most significant part of the book, the meadow scene. I was very dissapointed with that factor. Plus Edward was supposed to shine like diamonds in the sun, and he didn't. Again that whole scene I was dissapointed in. But then there was the fact of the guy who played Jasper. I know in the book he is supposed to be tortured on the inside, cause he wants to eat people. But in the movie the guy just makes it look like he is fixing to hurl through the whole film. Everytime he came up on the screen I burst out laughing cause he looked so funny. This is just a small tidbit of what he looked like.


But all in all it was pretty good. I wasn't very impressed with the guy that played Edward at first, but he grew on me by the end. It was good. I recommend everyone who has read the book go check it out.

More work boredom moments.

So today, we were all EXTREMELY bored at work, and we were all very much slap happy, so of course everything was funny. Needless to say most of us didn't get too much work actually done. So we were sitting around and we all decided that it was time to get into a rubber band fight. (Don't worry, we ricochet them off the ceiling so no eyes get poked out). And I caught this sweet moment of my friend Jill doing her Air Jordan rubber band slam dunk!!! YEAH JILL!! And now I am posting this pic for all to see!! (hehehehe)

Life could be Worse #3

So looking at every one's blog, I love hearing about the things that people are grateful for. I was thinking of doing that this month, and then decided against it. I like doing these things more. Because right now I'm a little annoyed at the direction my work life is taking me. I don't want to be grateful for having a job, or a car or a house blah blah blah. I'd rather laugh at other people problems, and be grateful that all my stupid moments aren't caught on camera! :)

Like, I could look like a complete doofus on national television...and then all over the Internet!
(well they are in New York...what do you expect!!Boo Yankees!!)

So we didn't dress up...we didn't have any kids to dress up. So Adam and I have become those weird people that dress up their pets. But not all the time... Just for Halloween. Hey!! Wherever we can find an excuse!:) Chester was a King, and Piper was the Devil.

2nd Life could be Worse!

So here is the 2nd of my weekly Life could be worse!




Instead of feeling like I'm getting crapped on... I could LITERALLY get dive bombed by a pigeon and crapped on! Which almost happened to me. The other day I was walking out of a store and I heard 2 plops behind me. I looked back and noticed two nice fresh bird droppings about 5 inches away from me. So see...I guess I'm being looked out for after all...inch by inch!
