DON'T BOTHER ME...I'M BUSY....

so i'm trying to blog a bit more often

than once every month or so.

which is actually

kinda nice

since i don't have as

many pictures to go through.

sam has made many new

leaps and bounds lately.

i never realized how quickly they change.

literally one day they aren't doing

something and the next

they are!

it's amazing.

well here are some milestones in no particular order:

sam likes to think outside the box.

why drink from the correct side of the cup??

sam is not a morning person.

if you look closely you will catch a glimpse of the

elusive tooth.

to see inside this kids mouth

a plan similar to ocean's 11 is needed.

sam needs his beauty sleep

sam is a connoisseur of sorts.

these toys must taste pretty good,

since the dogs are always chewing on them so much!

sam has decided to try out for the next milk ad.

sam will let you know when he

disagrees with you

sam has the kind of hair that makes for great bedhead.

so in a nutshell there are some of sams

feats of late.

FOR - EV - ER

lately i've been doing some thinking.

blogging is an outlet right?

i don' often talk about religion on my blog but

i feel compelled to share my thoughts.

for those of you that don't know

i am Mormon.

latter day saint.

i am by no means the best Mormon.

i definitely have my flaws.

and i'm not the most avid church go-er.

but never once in my life have i ever lost faith.

i know without a doubt in my mind that

there is a God and he loves me very much.

i know for a fact that he will answer prayers.

most of the time they are

on His timetable but he will answer them.

i also believe in personal revelation.

because i have had quite a few of them.

sometimes i don't listen because

i don't like what the answer is.

but God definitely doesn't mind repeating himself.

But the year i got pregnant with sam

i was praying every chance i got for a child.

i had no idea what i wanted

i had no idea what his name would be.

then one day around february,

it was like i got hit over the head with a stick.

**i seem to describe all my personal revelations like that***

**i guess i can be a little stubborn sometimes**

anyway, i was praying and all of the sudden

i knew i was going to have a boy

i knew his name was going to be sam

and i knew he was going to come that year.

i was a little leery about him actually being born that year

because it was already february.

but i kept the faith and he was born in december.

i tell this story because just last weekend

i had just said my night prayers

and was settling in for a good nights sleep

**i knew it was going to be good because i took a benedryl.... oh yeah**

all of the sudden it was like someone was yelling in my ear

holly

and right then i knew my next kid is going to be a girl

and her name is going to be holly.

**NOBODY CAN TAKE THAT NAME**

and i know she will come soon.

when for sure, i don't know.

but i've felt for a long time that i was going to have a girl next

because when sam was born for about a month,

i felt a very VERY strong presence of a girl around

us all the time.

and i am feeling her all the time once again.

but never in a million years would i have picked holly

as a name.

i don't really even know any holly's.

one of my friends told me that

to be able to receive personal revelation

is a spiritual gift.

that makes me feel wonderful,

but at the same time makes me wonder

if i was living an even better life if

i would be able to receive more,

or clearer answers and revelations.

anyway,

i also have had some other kinds of

obstacles in my life as of late.

and whenever i feel like it's going to go down the drain.

i get comforted knowing that everything

is going to work out fine.

how and when is beyond me.

but FAITH.

it's what keeps me going.

knowing that i have a divine trio

standing behind me.

that will never let me down

and will love me no matter what

makes life wonderful.

and if you listen

you will get your answers.
i know that anyone can receive revelations and

answers.

you just have to be still and listen.

THE FAST AND THE TOOTHLESS....

well it's about that time to blog again.

so much has happened it's insane

i swear once we start getting used to one new thing that sam does

he decides that he want's to do something else.
we were getting to be great eaters,

then he decided that he wanted to feed himself

and now he barely eats anything we feed him on a spoon.

we were getting used to sitting and getting up on his hands and knees,

and then he decides

that he wanted to go fast.

and now he is crawling so fast that he disapears

in like 2 seconds.

~~its a good thing our house isn't that big~~

so needless to say things have been pretty busy

around these parts.

adam and myself are just trying to stay ahead

of the game.

and i can tell you right now

it's gonna be tough.

sam is so flippin cute that it makes it hard

to be stearn with him.

although he is starting to understand the word no.

or maybe just the tone.

sam has also decided that he doesn't want any of his toys

but has decided that he wants to chew

on the dog toys.

he will actually chase them around and try to grab their toys.

whatever

i know for a fact that the dogs are pretty healthy

(thanks petsmart)

so i figure a little dirt never hurt anyone.

besides aren't people always saying that

a dogs mouth is cleaner than ours?

i also have to say that i got a new position at work

and love it.

it's less stress, less annoying people

(if you are reading this you probaby aren't one of those

annoying people but you probably do know who they are)

anyway, i now work 4 - 10's. which means i have

3 days off again.

so samsonite and myself have been paling around

town. which has been kinda

difficult figuring out things to do

that don't involve going outside since it's

like the umpteenth level of hell outside

~~hello - 110 deg in flippin SEPTEMBER!!~~~

unacceptable

needless to say we are very much looking forward to the fall weather

where we can actually go outside

and see sunshine.

well here are some pictures of the last month or so

in no particular order:

sam gettin down and dirty with his toy bucket

sam in the words of ricky bobby "wants to go fast"

he started out far away and within seconds was at the camera.

such a ham.

sam has decided that it's easier to eat with teeth

and has proceeded to grow some.

oh what a crappy path this teething thing has been!

sam has decided that he want's to be the next american idol.

it's only a matter of time before they lower the

age limit to 1 year olds.

sam made a new friend

this is

sam and ted's excellent adventures:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
adam loves puffs...
i mean adam loves feeding puffs to sam
since sam's tastes have suddenly changed
hooray puffs
sam has learned some bad habits from the puppies
but kudos to him for his smarts.
he has realized that:
#1 ~ being naked is awesome
&
#2 ~ begging for food always gets results if you show your puppy eyes
see....i'd give this little guy any food he wated
and i'm pretty sure he's laughing because
he knows he can get away with pretty much anything!!
i also decided it was time to expose sam
to the best store in the world.
ikea
he was very impressed
he is growing up too fast but i have to say i really love
this age. he is one awesome kiddo
that's fo sho!
